March – Spring Cleaning, But Make It Your Feed NOT Your Food 🧽🫧

Every March, Diet Culture rebrands itself as “wellness"...
Suddenly everyone is talking about spring resets, detoxes, and starting fresh, as if your body needs a seasonal overhaul just because the weather changed.
Diet culture loves this time of year because it can disguise restriction as renewal.
“Clean eating” sounds responsible and wholesome until you realize it often just means being afraid of bread. We are encouraged to purge, cleanse, and reset, all under the promise that suffering now will somehow lead to feeling better later.
Here’s the truth: your body is not clutter. Food is not dirty. And wellness does not require suffering, no matter how pretty the mason jar is. Your liver is already doing the work it is meant to do. It does not need help from a juice cleanse that tastes like lawn clippings.
So this March, try a different kind of spring cleaning.
Unfollow anyone who tells you hunger is a mindset. Toss the detox tea. Keep the snacks.
Let the only thing you cleanse be your algorithm. Growth happens when things are nourished, not when they are starved.
